For decades, Country Blue lived under an autocratic government characterized by endemic corruption, silenced dissent, and widespread poverty. After several failed peaceful pleas for government reform, an armed rebel movement planned a coup. The government responded within discriminate brutality, imposing martial law on the country and detaining anyone perceived as sympathetic to the rebel movement.
