PILPG Style and Format Guide

As Lawyering Peace students, your objective is to answer legal questions presented by your clients in a clear, concise, and thorough manner. You are responsible for producing original, high-quality work product that draws on all well-established authorities in the field and provides accurate citations. Unless specifically directed otherwise, your objective is not to provide clients with your opinion on the specific course of action they should take. Instead, your goal should be to provide your client with the information they need to make their own decisions. In doing this, you will draw on many sources, but you must never simply reproduce another organization’s work.
