Inter-Governmental Authority for Development (IGAD)
(The main mediator is the Kenyan Special Envoy for Peace, Lieutenant General Lazarus Sumbeiywo) IGAD is a regional group made up of representatives from Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, and Uganda. IGAD is holding the platform for the Sudanese peace negotiations. Until now, there have been four sets of peace negotiations held in Kenya under IGAD auspices.
