International Observers

International Observers (The main mediator is the U.S. Special Envoy for Peace, John C. Danforth) The United States is the key international observer which has pushed the GoS and the SPLM/A into consenting to four agreements. The U.S. is accompanied by the United Kingdom, which had condominium with Egypt over Sudan until January 1, 1956, the Kingdom of Norway, which has provided technical, financial, and humanitarian aid, and the Italian Republic.
