United Nations Mediators Briefing Packet

The UN delegation, headed by UN Envoy to Yemen Jamal Benomar, will serve as the official mediator to the negotiations. The UN is interested in eliminating the security threat posed by extremist elements in Yemen and facilitating the successful completion of the state’s political transition.
