Iraq: Negotiating a New Constitution
The purpose of this negotiation simulation is to raise key issues and potential solutions to the points of impasse which are likely to arise during the constitutional negotiations. It is important to note that the objective of the simulation is not to reach consensus on the precise nature of the new constitution. Rather, this negotiation simulation is designed to stimulate debate, surface points of impasse, and identify potential solutions.
